Job Overview
We are currently looking for an Architectural Product Specialist to join our team in New York City.
As an Architectural Product Specialist, you will:
Support Haworth Walls Business Unit (WBU) and regional sales team as an expert on Architectural Interior projects. Collaborates with teams to develop project responses and ensures successful implementation. Creates project schedules, drawings, and installation plans from budget to final stages. Ensures customer satisfaction through comprehensive project coordination
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders:Work closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Continuously improve design processes:Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to the design process and client responses to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop Design Solutions:Create innovative and functional design solutions that meet client needs, incorporating solutions and design principles, knowledge and research.
- Lead Design Projects:Lead and manage all phases of design projects, ensuring timely completion, client satisfaction, and alignment with Haworth's brand and product portfolio.
- Manage Client Relationships:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals, design requirements, and workplace culture.
- Manage Design Budgets and Schedules:Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Provide technical expertise and training:Provide technical expertise and training to other departments and dealer customers in support of design initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- Project Documentation and Communication: Leads project documentation, ensuring complete scope and effective communication of tasks and timelines to all stakeholders.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Works with Senior APS and regional sales teams to align solutions with sales strategies and targets.
- Support in Sales Presentations: Assists in sales presentations, providing information on architectural products and collaborating with architects to meet client needs.
- Training and Promotion: Delivers training and support on product positioning to dealers, architects, and contractors to ensure proper specification and presentation of products.
- Expertise in Product Application: Provides expertise in product application, supporting sales teams with details, solutions, and configurations throughout project phases.
- Project Coordination and Strategy: Attends design and construction meetings, develops order strategies, and ensures successful project execution from bid to installation.
- Financial and Database Management: Manages project financials, maintains awareness of P&L statements, updates project databases, and serves as primary contact for assigned projects.
- Travels up to 30% of the time including overnight and internationally.

- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, architecture, industrial design, interior design, marketingor equivalent.
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience or,
- High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.
Work Experience:
- 5 years related experience with Architectural Products, including Architectural Design Drafting experience utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit software applications,with Bachelor's Degree.
- 3 years related experience with Architectural Products, including Architectural Design Drafting experience utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit software applications, with Master's Degree.

- Ability to work in New York Citywithout relocation assistance.

Preferred Qualifications
- Related construction industry experience.
- Project management experience in interior fit-out projects.
- Contract office furniture or commercial interiors experience.
- Experience with budgeting and bid response.
- Experience with Autodesk construction cloud, Procore, BuildUp, or similar.
Compensation and Benefits
Haworth offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, sales incentive bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions. This role offers a salary range of 89k - 197k, depending on candidate experience, education, and skill set.
