Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry. The role is fully remote and based out of New York. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with high volume invoice processing for a multitude of vendors, along with maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process a high volume of invoices on a weekly basis.

• Maintain and update vendor information in Microsoft 365 Enterprise.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Code invoices correctly to ensure accurate payments.

• Monitor vendor accounts and take necessary actions as needed.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive financial documentation. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for the role.

• Knowledge and practical experience in Accounts Payable (AP) operations is required.

• Proficient in Coding Invoices to ensure accurate financial records.

• Should possess strong Data Entry skills to handle high volumes of data with accuracy.

• Experience in Invoice Processing is required to ensure timely and efficient payments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for managing and analyzing data.

• Must be familiar with Microsoft 365 Enterprise to facilitate smooth business communications and operations.
