This role will be responsible for defining and bringing to life new features that allow content partners to manage contracts, payments and financial reporting with ease. You’ll design extensible systems that enable these features across a variety of use cases and lines of business and work in close partnership with cross-functional business, product, engineering and other stakeholders to turn business requirements in to detailed technical specifications. In addition to meeting the business’ needs, you will be responsible for ensuring the features you launch comply with the various legal, regulatory, tax and business requirements that come with operating across a diverse, global digital content marketplace. You will get the chance to work on a broad spectrum of opportunities from long-term strategic projects for Apple to near term business initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on marquee new features and product launches for our services, including the App Store, Arcade, Apple Music, TV+, News+, Fitness+, iTunes Stores, Books, Podcasts and more. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and launching robust features in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Description

The Partner Onboarding and Business team plays a crucial role to provide thousands of developers and content partners with the tools and features they need to sign contracts, provide tax and banking information, and access payments and financial reports. In this role, you will: - Collaborate closely with partner product managers, content provider relations, business management, engineering, engineering project management, design, tax, legal, and other functions to deliver tools that provide content partners with seamless experiences. - Establish guardrails to protect the integrity of the partner onboarding and payment consolidation systems. - Translate business and regulatory goals for our capabilities into detailed technical requirements used during design, development and quality assurance of the tools. - Clearly articulate the strategy, and the detailed requirements in leadership and cross-functional reviews. - Work closely with engineering and program managers to develop and launch features on time and at scale - Build expertise in our platform, empower external facing teams to improve adoption of features, answer questions, and propose practical solutions that meet content provider needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills: Can convey complex ideas concisely and effectively, adapt to different audiences, and influence outcomes.

  • Self-motivated and proactive: Willing to dive into details and gain a thorough understanding of Apple’s systems, processes, and strategic initiatives in order to build the best experiences for partners.

  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to break apart complex questions, seek expertise and data to arrive at proposals.

  • Consistent track record of working collaboratively with engineering, QA, design, business, finance and legal teams

  • 5+ years of related experience in product management, consulting, design or engineering

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and/or MBA with relevant engineering/quantitative background

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
