Implement Data Governance plan by developing data requirements, definitions, measurements, and exception handling for financial data. Oversee identification, consistent use, and control of enterprise-wide reference data for financial instruments and information per the firm’s data governance policies and procedures. Create processes to streamline data onboarding. Ensure accuracy of reference data terms in data governance catalog. Resolve data quality issues, and coordinate solutions and fixes with technology support. Implement IT procedures and workflows to regularly maintain reference data and monitor adherence to, and guide business and technical user groups in, maintenance procedures. Work with technology groups to support the data governance reference data program as well as perform knowledge transfer and cross training for stakeholders.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or as Senior Associate, Associate, Software Developer or Automation Engineer.All required experience must have included: designing and developing highly scalable, interactive web applications; designing and implementing backend application interfaces for data and services; working with open source technologies including Selenium, Appium, ReadyAPI, and RestAssured; Java, Mongo, and SQL; and working with Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE) in Agile methodology. At least 1 year of experience must have included: developing data workflow automation and BI solutions; using Power BI or Tableau to build business intelligence analytical scripts and models, dashboards and scorecards to provide actional data insights; coordinating automation activities across multiple platforms using Selenium, Power Automate or Ambari Hive Workflow; developing complex ETL routines, SQL queries and programs for data related activities; using integration concepts including SOAP and REST; and developing and publishing multiple complex dashboards to Tableau Server or PowerBI Server.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Jersey City, NJ office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
