Insight Global is seeking two (2) Sr. Python Developers to join one of our large financial clients hybrid in Jersey City, NJ. This individual will be joining the Enterprise Risk Finance Technology organization and contributing to two projects. One project is looking to re-configure an upstream data source into a new strategic platform and onboard more users, while the other is a greenfield project which aims to create a reconciliation and adjustment capability between the bank's ledger and an upstream ADS which is going to be used for regulatory reporting. The projects are currently in the process of moving from a bank proprietary database to a new Oracle Exadata rack. The developer will spend 75% of their time doing back end and middleware development and 25% of their time meeting with stakeholders such as the UI team. This person should be a well-rounded team player who is willing to get into all areas of the software life cycle such as analysis and product developments.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of object-oriented programming using Python

Strong proficiency in relational database management and design

Strong communication skills and experience interacting with stakeholders Financial enterprise experience null
