Description
Responsibilities:
• Provide IT support through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person requests
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and courteous manner
• Manage and track all problem and resolution activity within the tracking system
• Install and configure basic PC software applications like Microsoft Office, Citrix, etc.
• Stage and configure new and existing desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment
• Act as primary and secondary support for computer upgrades and installations
• Assist in managing hardware and software assets
• Participate in the hardware warranty repair process
• Contribute to the continuous development of problem-solving techniques and more efficient support methods
• Display proficiency in both PC and MAC systems
• Support meetings as required
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements • Proficiency in Email Correspondence
• Familiarity with the software 'About Time'
• Ability to provide clear, concise answers to client queries
• Knowledge of various Methods used in IT support
• Experience in conducting system Upgrades
• Proven track record in providing excellent Customer Support
• Skilled in Submission of technical reports and documentation
• Expertise in Desktop Hardware maintenance and repair
• Ability to provide Onsite support when necessary
• Knowledge of Laptop Hardware and its troubleshooting
• Proficiency in handling and maintaining Computer Hardware
• Ability to use and create Templates for reporting and documentation
• Experience with Peripheral Equipment setup and troubleshooting
• Deep understanding of PC Operating Systems
• Proficiency in handling and troubleshooting Mac Computers
• Familiarity with Track System for logging and tracking IT issues
• Experience with Citrix virtualization software
• Proficiency in using the Servicenow Application for IT service management
• Ability to communicate Courteously with clients
• Skills to Troubleshoot Hardware issues effectively
• Familiarity with Cedar.AI software
• Proficiency in various PC Software and applications
• Knowledge of Network Information Service (NIS)
• Experience in Software Asset Management.
