Position: Manager II, Advanced AnalyticsJob Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030Duties: Develop, execute, and deliver short and long-term customer insights to influence media investment strategies and business growth opportunities. Ensure the delivery of assigned insights and data analyses with end-to-end ownership, detailed project plans, and operation processes that drive visibility and accountability with business stakeholders. Lead the development, enhancement, and production of various predictive and machine learning driven models to generate behavioral shopper insights, target audiences, and optimized customer journeys. Drive strategic initiatives by identifying issues, creating hypotheses, executing the analyses, and translating raw data into meaningful insights and actions. Develop and present concrete hypothesis-driven impactful deliverables that clearly answer the so-what clear for clients and that support the development of executive level presentations and perspectives. Identify gaps and opportunities for improving existing data sources and engage with broader Walmart teams to acquire and summarize sources within the environment. This position does not supervise employees.Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.Skills required: Experience organizing, validating, and extracting data from various databases using SQL. Experience conducting descriptive analytics and providing insights using R and Python. Experience creating predictive models or machine learning driven models for targeting using Python or R. Experience creating data visualization reports and dashboards using at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or SAS Visual Analytics. Experience building spreadsheet models, dashboards, and templates using Microsoft (MS) Excel. Experience creating compound formulas on Microsoft (MS) Excel. Experience creating business performance presentations and visualizations using Microsoft Office Applications: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
