Job Description
The Client Service Associate (CSA) is a sales support role within the Administration Department of Santander Investments, LLC. The CSA promotes and supports the Financial Advisor (FA) and the Bank’s clients with the administrative and service functions of the business. The CSA operates remotely in a corporate office; the FA functions within the branch network. As a team, The CSAs collectively assure adequate support to the firm’s top producing FAs. The CSA team supports each other and interacts with branch and home office associates as well as clients. A successful CSA understands and excels in all systems and processes as well as policies and procedures and is a great asset to their FA partners. The candidate may have sales experience or aspires to a brokerage sales career. Respect for the client, both our internal partners and external Bank clients is paramount in importance and central to the role. The ability to understand as well as communicate effectively and efficiency is critical to the role.
RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS
Provides infrastructure support to several Financial Advisors (FAs) from a corporate location
Driven to provide superior service for both internal and external clients
Creates internal partnerships with other functional support groups, as well as partnerships with external business partners for the products and services they provide
Works efficiently independently as well as in a team environment
Applies industry knowledge and problem-solving skills within the framework of the role
Manages corporate records
Handles customer requests and inquiries
Manages the Financial Advisors’ calendars, including scheduling appointments
Provides administrative support including faxing, scanning, uploading documents, and data entry
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree; in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, Economics, Communications or Equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in customer service, sales related occupations
FINRA Series 7 license required in order to be considered for this position. FINRA Series 65/66 license as well as appropriate state insurance licenses must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Strong analytical and evaluative skills with ability to measure program performance and make recommendations for improvement
Strong knowledge of sales support and effective sales enhancement techniques within the industry
Thorough knowledge of departmental and bank products and services
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
