We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU Step Down team. The role involves providing specialized care for patients transitioning out of the ICU who require more attention than those on a general medical-surgical unit.

• RN to patient ratio: 1:4, with patients ranging from young adult to geriatric
• Monitor patients using medical equipment such as catheters, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and cardiac monitors
• Conduct frequent patient assessments and properly escalate any changes in medical condition
• Respond to cardiac arrest and rapid response codes

This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position. However, as a supplier, your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like stipends (for clinical traveler workers only), medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Pay range: $38.22 - $52.48 per hour.

Required: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, IV/Phlebotomy experience, AHA ACLS.

• Evidence of graduation from an accredited National League of Nursing School. Baccalaureate degree or satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Licensed to practice as a professional nurse in New York State.
• Two years of experience in Medical/Surgical SD or ICU, IV Insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• Demonstrates satisfactory completion of age-specific competency.
