We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Construction/Contractor industry, located in BRONX, New York. Our office environment is fully on-site and we're inviting applications from candidates who are adept with union and/or payroll processing out of construction.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle weekly payroll for union employees

• Accurately input data into the general ledger

• Execute weekly and monthly dues reporting

• Ensure timely payment of benefits

• Upload certified payroll data to various government websites including.

• Respond to Department of Labor letters and garnish sheets

• Set up new employee verifications

• Understand and manage Union Payroll/Benefits

• Utilize software systems effectively for payroll functions

• Monitor and manage the payroll of New York-based employees only.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is expected.

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.

• Knowledge of Ceridian is desirable.

• Ability to use Dayforce is essential.

• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration is a must.

• Proficiency in using About Time software is beneficial.

• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Auditing skills are required.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is expected.

• Experience with Union Payroll is essential.

• Ability to generate Union Reports is a must.
